Creativity Camp

Service Description

Awaken your creative spirit!! We will meet weekly for two hours on Thursdays beginning June 30 and will continue July 7, 14 and 21st. We will explore our creativity in a number of ways including drawing, watercolor, collage, acrylics, abstract painting and journaling. I will share basic art instruction as well as a variety of techniques to help you relax and overcome creative blocks. You will learn to tap into what brings you joy, to let go of perfectionism so that you can connect deeply, let it flow and create with a feeling that there is no wrong or right. You will learn that creativity is its own reason for being and that allowing it into your life can bring you peace, contentment and even fire! Here is what you will get: A blank creativity workbook that we will design and fill Instruction on basic watercolor techniques Instruction on basic collage techniques Relaxation meditations designed to encourage creativity Snacks Intuitive abstract acrylics Handouts/Pdfs of creativity exercises to do on your own Handouts/Pdfs of suggested supplies and instructions to create on your own 10% off future classes One 5x7 art print of mine Access to my piles of art supplies! My teaching style is relaxed and fun. I am passionately convinced that all human beings are endowed with creativity and love the challenge of helping people uncover their own. Think you don’t have an artistic bone in your body? Watch me prove you wrong! Feel the need to create but stuck as to where to start, or what to do? We will uncover the medium that will unleash that creativity. Just want a relaxed place to go and create with like-minded women? This is the place!
